It is well located, not 10 min walk from Fira and near the bus station to go to Oia. Efren at the reception was very friendly at all times.
The hotel's bathrooms leave a lot to be desired... your bathroom fills up with water every time you take a shower, since they are narrow, and with curtains that do not reach the bottom completely. The breakfasts are quite fair, coffee or tea. Bread with jam or butter, Greek yogurt and almost everything. During our stay, there was a day of heavy rain and we filled the room with water, leaving soaked suitcases, clothes, tennis ... water that entered under the door of the room and through the slots of the balcony. Still seeing the puddles in the hall, they asked us about 8 times if we had left the windows open.. treating us as if we were fools.. and a whole story to change our room because they wanted us to go out to dry the floor and that's it.. and our things? Zero help and zero option to dry them... besides the guy who attended us was laughing. These things happen. But the attitude was not very appropriate. With the cabio de hab.lo unico que sacamos de bueno fue que a pesar de ser mas pequeña el colchón de la cama era algo mejor, ya que en la primera se te naviaban los muelles.

Location, breakfast and room
We were told in advance to be picked up at the airport.. We were waiting and until we wrote they didn't tell us they couldn't pick us up. We arrived there by bus... tired, with all the positive attitude of knowing Santorini, however, woman who attends the reception is very unassertive about the way she addresses us. We knew that the check in was later.. the way she received us did not seem pleasant to us. We paid the transfer to the port to take the ferry to Athens and driver wanted to leave us at the airport x another client of the hotel who was going there.. I think there is a lot of miscommunication. I never really felt comfortable addressing this woman.. There was always a wall.. I think one of the most important things in this type of establishment is the human warmth of its employees.

The breakfast here is delicious, and the staff is friendly, preparing warm croissants and offering extra orange juice or coffee.

Almost everything. room was very cuca and beautiful, all blue and white. Besides, they are like little houses, each one with its little terrace with table and chairs. Then there is also a bigger table at the back, with armchairs, chill out. You also have a swimming pool that is very nice (pity they close it at night). In the fridge there are some drinks if you want (you have to pay for them) and they are not expensive. Breakfast is included and truth is that it is spectacular, there is a lot of stuff coming. Besides it is very close to Thira, you can get there on foot. two guys who attended me spoke English, although one more than the other. However, one of them was a bit more surly. He wasn't very friendly, he wasn't very nice. the other one, Efrem, was very nice and charming.
bathroom in general, especially the shower. It's super small, with a curtain. There is only a small separation between what is the shower and floor, curtain sticks all the time, you flood the bathroom, etc. Also, shower (the handle or whatever you want to call it) falls sometimes and almost hits me in the head. There were 3 of us and my extra bed was a folding bed, uncomfortable. You "sank" into it.

The facilities of the hotel are not so excellent, but it's obviously good for the money you pay. You cannot find other hotel like this on your budget. And the owner of the hotel is very kind and pleasant.
General cleaness of the room was good, but the curtain around bed is somewhat smelly if you have a very sensitive nose.

the room was cramped. there was a column that blocked the bathroom door. we had an extra bed that took up space and didn''t need the extra bed. there was noom to put our luggage.

The location of Margarita Hotel is absolutely perfect, close to the center and popular tourist attractions in Santorini. There is a convenience store nearby for easy access to essentials.- A great spot to grab coffee and treats is Galini Cafe, just a 500-meter walk away from the hotel.

The hotel was close to the main shopping and restaraunts if Fira and Firastefani, so we could easily walk.
The breakfast was of very poor quality and the pool area was not clean or in good repair.

Very nice experience there. Savoury and great breakfast with really good coffee too, stunning location. Accommodating and incredible stuff, impressive rooms with jacuzzi, balcony plus twin beds. Approximately 10 minutes' drive from airport.

Large parking lot, always available. Good breakfast, wasteful not being able to choose items. 10-minute walk to Fira, lots of restaurants and shopping. Easy to navigate despite lack of street names and small maps. Prompt toilet fix. Nice pool with chairs, towels, and tube. Pretty sea view, both balcony options. Lockable patio doors and curtains. Key-operated room doors. Newly renovated, excellent breakfast. Clean, small but functional rooms. Comfortable beds. Comfortable sunbeds at pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Informative check-in.

It is value for money & the owner is very kind to upgrade our room to apartment when we check in. However, minor problem arise when we arrived the Santorini airport & transport was provided. But due to lack of communication , thus we took a taxi to the hotel & found out that shuttle bus was provided for us.

The people that works at the hotel is friendly and the relationship between quality and price is perfect. Though the hotel is not situated in Thira you can easily access the center of the city by walking to the church (beautiful) behind the hotel and walking nearby the caldera (fantastic views and good restaurants) instead of using the direct route. I must say that in the whole island there is no space for pedestrians and drivers take into account this when they drive. The hotel also has transfers to and from the airport for free.
